Terms of Service
These terms cover the use of this website and set out how quotes, scheduling and warranties work with Daly City Window Replacement. The written contract you sign for a specific project governs that project; where the two differ, the signed contract controls.
Use of this website
The content here is provided for general information about window and door replacement in Daly City and the surrounding San Mateo County cities. It describes typical practice and typical timelines, and it is not a substitute for an on-site measure of your specific openings.
Quotes and pricing
Prices are quoted only after an in-person measure and are provided in writing, itemized by opening. A written quote holds for the period stated on the document. The single named exception to a fixed price is concealed damage that could not be seen until the existing unit was removed, and any such change is presented to you with photographs and a cost before the additional work proceeds.
Scheduling and lead times
Replacement units are manufactured to the measurements taken at your property, so installation dates depend on production. Estimated lead times given on this site or by phone are estimates, not guarantees, and the confirmed date is the one supplied once the manufacturer accepts the order.
Permits and approvals
We prepare and submit the permit documentation the City of Daly City requires for replacement work, and we provide product documentation for HOA review where an association requires it. Approval decisions rest with the relevant authority or association.
Warranties
Products carry the manufacturer's written warranty on glass, frames and hardware under that manufacturer's own terms. Our installation carries a separate written labor warranty. Both documents are supplied in writing, and neither covers damage from impact, misuse, unauthorised alteration or failure to maintain the product.
Cancellation
Cancellation rights and any associated charges are set out in the signed contract for your project, including the point after which custom-manufactured units can no longer be cancelled because fabrication has begun.
Limitation of liability
Our liability in connection with a project is limited to the scope and remedies set out in the signed contract and the applicable warranty documents. Nothing in these terms limits liability where limitation is not permitted by California law.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time and the current version is the one posted on this page.
Questions About These Terms
If any of this is unclear before you sign a contract, call and ask. We would rather explain it now than have it come up mid-project.
